Offset Printing Specifications (Computer to Plate)

Please adhere to the following guidelines when supplying disks for CTP:

• Final artwork to be finished in:
• Adobe Illustrator (up to CS5)
• Adobe Photoshop (up to CS5)
• Adobe InDesign (up to CS5)
• Adobe Acrobat (Press Optimised PDF)
• Quark Xpress (up to 8)

other programs phone for evaluation.

Final artwork to be supplied on:

• CD or DVD
• USB Flash Drive
• Smaller files 5MB or under can be emailed

Please supply colour proofs or black & white separations when supplying your artwork.

When supplying Photoshop files eg. TIFF, EPS, JPEG etc, please ensure that they are flattened and converted to correct colour (not RGB).

All images must be saved at 300 dpi.

When supplying Illustrator or PDF documents please note that it is preferred that the fonts be outlined or embedded if no changes are necessary.

Please do not embed pictures into Illustrator and remember to supply them separately.

All colours must be in CMYK or PMS (not RGB).

Please supply us with all links images and include all fonts otherwise this may incur a delay in printing (Flightcheck collected folder preferable).

When supplying Acrobat PDF files, the PDF needs to be distilled from a post script file using the Press Optimised preferences in Acrobat.

Please ensure that at least 3mm bleed is in place where needed.
